FAQ

Questions, answered honestly

We will usually start with an informal telephone conversation. This gives us the chance to talk through your CV and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions about the role. If you meet the criteria for a vacancy, we will invite you to an in-person interview at our Harpenden office. After that, we may offer a paid trial day on site with our engineers so you can experience our work style and we can learn more about your skills, strengths and workmanship. If the trial day is successful, we will then make a formal job offer.
We will ask a selection of questions about your technical knowledge, communication style, work experience and approach to quality. It is also a chance for you to show us any portfolio of work you may have and ask questions about what it is like to work at KG Electrical Contractors.
The questions we ask will be appropriate to the role, your level of experience and your qualifications. The paid trial day also gives us the opportunity to assess your workmanship, attention to detail and overall quality of work in a real working environment.

Yes. We are always looking for the right people.

If you think you would be a great addition to the KG Electrical Contractors team, please send your CV to hello@kgec.co.uk.

At this time, we are not able to offer sponsorship, apprenticeships or work experience placements. We also handle all recruitment directly, so no agencies please.
